Copyright and image rights

Tell us if an image shown through Plok infringes copyright or another right. You do not need a Plok account.

How to contact us

Email support@plok.app with the subject “Copyright notice.” This inbox is monitored by Plok App LLC for copyright and image-rights reports.

Please send one clear notice for the images and works you can reasonably group together. Keep the original email and any sent attachments for your records.

What to include

Include enough information for us to assess and act on the report:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or other protected material you believe is affected.
  • The Plok result, page, proxy image URL, original image URL, source page, or screenshot that lets us locate the challenged image.
  • Your name and contact information, including an email address where we can reply.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the challenged use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for the rights holder.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

If you are reporting another image-related right rather than copyright, identify the right, your relationship to it, the image, and the action you are requesting. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is not needed to evaluate the report.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge a report within 24 hours. We may ask for missing information or clarification when we cannot identify the work, image, or requester’s authority from the notice.

When a report supports action, Plok can suppress the identified image across private and shared app surfaces and stop its image links from serving cached or newly fetched copies. Plok may keep the rest of the result—such as its title, source link, and useful actions—available.

We record the identifiers and operational actions needed to prevent a suppressed image from returning through a known alternate source or a later refresh. We may also preserve notices and related records as needed to investigate the report, document our response, resolve a dispute, or comply with law.
